أعلنت شركة زين اكتمال الدفعة السادسة من برنامج “النساء في التكنولوجيا” (Women in Technology – WIT)، وذلك ضمن النسخة الثانية من البرنامج التي ما زالت متواصلة، في إطار التزام الشركة بدعم وتمكين الشابات في مجالات العلوم والتقنية والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM). وشهدت الدفعة السادسة انضمام 55 متدربة من الطالبات الجامعيات وحديثات التخرج

حيث ركّز البرنامج، إلى جانب التأهيل المهني، على تقليص الفجوة الرقمية بين الجنسين من خلال برنامج إرشادي متخصص أتاح للمشاركات الاستفادة المباشرة من خبرات موظفي زين ونقل المعرفة العملية إليهن. وتضمّنت أنشطة الدفعة برامج تدريبية ومهام عملية نُفذت عن بُعد تحت إشراف مرشدين متخصصين

إلى جانب جلسات معرفية وورش عمل تفاعلية ركزت على تطوير المهارات التقنية والقيادية، وتعزيز جاهزية المتدربات للانخراط بثقة في سوق العمل. وأكدت زين أن برنامج “النساء في التكنولوجيا” يُعد أحد المبادرات المحورية ضمن استراتيجيتها لدعم التنمية البشرية وتعزيز مشاركة المرأة في القطاع التقني، بما ينسجم مع رؤيتها في تمكين الكفاءات الشابة والمساهمة في إعداد جيل قادر على مواكبة التحولات الرقمية المتسارعة، ودعم مسارات الابتكار والنمو المستدام في المجتمعات التي تعمل بها.

Zain Announces the Completion of the Sixth Cohort of the “Women in Technology” Program – Second Edition** Zain announced the completion of the sixth cohort of its Women in Technology (WIT) program, as part of the second edition of the initiative, which is still ongoing. This comes within the company’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering young women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The sixth cohort welcomed 55 female trainees, including university students and recent graduates. In addition to professional capacity building, the program focused on bridging the digital gender gap through a specialized mentorship framework that enabled participants to benefit directly from Zain employees’ expertise and gain practical, hands-on knowledge. The cohort’s activities included structured training programs and practical assignments delivered virtually under the supervision of Zain staff dedicated mentors, alongside knowledge-sharing sessions and interactive workshops. These activities were designed to enhance technical and leadership skills and to strengthen the participants’ readiness to enter the job market. Zain emphasized that the Women in Technology program is a core component of its strategy to support human development and increase women’s participation in the technology sector. The initiative aligns with the company’s vision to empower young talent and contribute to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with rapid digital transformation, while supporting innovation and sustainable growth across the communities it serves.
