نظمت منظمة شباب من اجل السلام و بناء القدرات جلسة رفع وعي حول موضوعات حماية الأطفال لنازحي

ولاية سنار بمركز إيواء السوق الشعبي بالقضارف

واوضح الاستاذ عثمان حامد ممثل منظمة شباب من اجل السلام وبناء القدرات ان الجلسة التوعوية حول حماية الأطفال وكيفية تقديم الدعم النفسي تستهدف الأطفال والامهات بمركز الإيواء، حيث يعمل المشروع على تنفيذ عدد اربعة جلسات رفع وعي في موضوعات الحماية خاصة حماية الأطفال والعنف المبنى على النوع الاجتماعي بصفة خاصة

الي جانب حصر الأطفال المستهدفين لتوزيع ملابس الأطفال كنشاط مصاحب للفعالية

وقالت الأستاذة وهيبة حامد مصطفي مدير إدارة المشروعات بالإدارة العامة للمرأة و ميسر الجلسة ان ضرورة رفع الوعي في اوساط النازحين وتعريفهم بالمخاطر المحتلة وتبصير الأطفال مشيرة الى استشعار العمل علي منع الوقوع فيها والتبليغ الفوري في حال حدوثها

Awareness raising sessions on child protection and providing psychological support at shelters in Gedaref

Youth for Peace and Capacity Building organized an awareness raising session on child protection issues for IDPs.

Sennar State, Shelter Center in the Popular Market, Gadaref

Mr. Othman Hamid, representative of the Youth for Peace and Capacity Building Organization, explained that the awareness session on child protection and how to provide psychological support targets children and mothers at the shelter center, and the project is working to implement a number of 4 awareness-raising sessions on protection issues, child protection and gender-based violence in particular.

In addition to identifying the targeted children for distributing children’s clothing as an accompanying activity.

Ms. Waheeba Hamed Mustafa, Director of the Projects Department at the General Administration for Women and facilitator of the session, spoke about the necessity of raising awareness among the displaced and their knowledge of the potential risks for children and how to sense them and work to prevent them and raise the sense of reporting if they occur.
